On
September 9th, the seminary held a farewell program for the brothers of the
Ministerial Year (IV year theology), who are now preparing to embark on their
future pastoral missions.
Speaking
on behalf of the batch, Br Rohan Fernandes expressed deep gratitude to the
seminary, the Rector, and the entire staff for their sacrifice and dedication
in guiding their formation. In his address, the Rector congratulated the
brothers on the successful completion of their formation journey and imparted
words of encouragement, highlighting three key virtues for their future
ministry: gratitude towards God and the seminary faculty, unwavering commitment
to their priestly vocation, and a deep love for the seminary. He emphasized that
these virtues would serve as guiding principles for a fruitful and meaningful
life in ministry.
The Rector
further reminded all present that the departure of these brothers is not a
loss, but a gain for the Church, as they go forth to preach the Word of God and
bear witness to Christ. The seminary extends its heartfelt best wishes to the
brothers as they embark on their priestly journey, praying for a fulfilling and
blessed ministry.
