On September 7th, the seminary joyfully celebrated the Monthi Feast, under the auspices of the Juze Vaz Konkani Academy. The celebration commenced the previous evening with a solemn Taizé prayer service, which offered a deeply spiritual experience centered on devotion to the cross.
The following morning, the Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr Lanson Pinto, a newly ordained priest. The Mass began with the traditional offering of flowers to Our Lady, reflecting the feast's Marian devotion. In his homily, Fr Lanson highlighted the significance of saying "Yes" to God's will in our daily lives, inspired by the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Special prayers were offered for the intentions of families, farmers, and girl children.
The celebration concluded with a community meal, where a traditional vegetarian lunch was shared in fraternity. Following the meal, the brothers returned to their homes to continue the festive celebrations with their families.
