On September 5th, the seminary celebrated the Feast of St Teresa of Kolkata, under the guidance of the Kannada Academy. The day also coincided with the monthly recollection, providing an opportunity for the seminarians to spend time in silence, reflection, and prayer.

The recollection was led by Fr Stany Goveas, the parish priest of Madanthyar Parish, who shared the inspiring story of how God has guided him throughout his priestly journey. He reminded the seminarians that a priest is not only called to be a man of prayer but is, in essence, a living prayer.

The festive Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Fr Vinay Kumar, a former student of the seminary from the Diocese of Chikkamagaluru. In his homily, he underscored the virtues of simplicity and humility as essential qualities in the life of a priest.

The day’s liturgy was meticulously organized by the Kannada Academy, under the direction of Rev. Fr Francis D'Souza. It was a day rich with blessings, inspiration, and a renewed sense of vocation for all who participated.
