Bishop Emeritus Most Reverend Aloysius Paul D'Souza conferred the rite admission to the Candidacy for clerical Orders to twenty-two brothers from different dioceses on October 15^th, 2023.  The brothers had prepared themselves spiritually for this significant moment. Br. Vinol, expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this day possible. The Director of Human Formation, Father Milton Jacob, was present and delivered a motivating homily. Father Rector guided the entire liturgy.

The following morning, on October 16th, during the Mass, the second and third-year theology brothers received the ministries of reader and acolyte. Most Reverend Dr. Peter Paul Saldanha, the Bishop of Mangalore, conferred these ministries. There were 26 brothers from the second year and 19 brothers from the third year theology. Father Antony Pinto and Father Alex Kalarikkal, the Human Formation Directors of the second and third-year theology, participated in the Mass. The Bishop encouraged the brothers to stay updated with Church documents and to continue growing in their spiritual lives.
