In Search of Wisdom: Philosophy Students Immerse Themselves in Spiritual Diversity
03-09-2023The Department of Philosophy organised a day visit to the different religious places of worship in
Mangalore. As a part of this program, the seminarians visited seven different
places of worship beginning with Ramakrishna Mission Mutt, followed by Jain
Temple, Bejai Church, Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Spiritual World University, Sikh Gurudwara,
Kadri Temple, Ullal Darga and finally to St Anthony's Syrian Jacobite Church. The visit
to all these religious centres enhanced the knowledge of their religious
practices and beliefs. The program was spearheaded by the HOD of philosophy,
Rev. Dr Ivan D'Souza.
