Commemorating St John Mary Vianney, the patron of priests a solemn yet awe-inspiring celebration was organised at St Joseph’s Inter-diocesan Seminary on Friday, August 04, 2023, with eleven newly- ordained priests of the 2022-23 pass-out batch. The festal mass began at 11 o'clock. Rev. Fr Rector Ronald Serrao welcomed the new priests to their alma mater. Rev. Fr Robin was the main celebrant and Fr. Lohith delivered the homily. After the holy Eucharistic celebration, The felicitation program was held in order to congratulate them. Fr Antony George Pinto who celebrated his birthday on the same day. The cultural committee arranged the program and Br Sherin was the MC of the day. Rev Fr Alex Kalarikkal the director of the Institute of Theology felicitated the new priests and the Choir members sang the wishing song. The seminarians wished the new priests with roses. Rev. Fr Rector conveyed the birthday greetings of the seminary by giving a bouquet to Rev. Fr. Antony Pinto. Fr. Anujo expressed the Words of gratitude and the meeting was concluded with a photo session. There was a grand festive meal to increase the joy of the celebration.
