A study session on uniform civil code was held at 3rd year theology classroom on Tuesday, 26th July 2023 at 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. The speaker of the day was Rev. Fr Chetan lobo OFM cap. Bro Jayanth II theology was the Master of ceremony of the programme .The session began with a prayer song by OCD Brothers and Bro Rohan of III theology welcomed the gathering. Rev. Fr Ronald Serrao welcomed the chief guest with a bouquet. Rev. Fr Alex Kalarikkal the director of St Joseph institute of theology, Rev. Fr Antony George Pinto HOD of the Theology section, Rev Fr Ivan D’Souza HOD of the Philosophy section also took part in the inaugural session. The session discussed various aspects and different after effects of uniform civil code proposed by Indian government. After the talk there was a fruitful interaction session in which brothers clarified their doubts. At the end Bro Dinu of the III theology proposed the vote of thanks and the session was concluded by the Seminary anthem at 8:15 p.m.
