St. Thomas Day on July 3rd was celebrated in the seminary under the leadership of Marthoma Malayala Samajam. The celebration led all towards the spirit of discipleship of Saint Thomas. As a preparation, prayer service was conducted on 2nd July at 9:00 p.m. Dn. Ajay Varkey Puthukkattuchira led the prayer service and intercessory prayers by Bro Sherin Johny. Marthoma Malayala Samajam choir made the prayer service more heavenly by their hymns. The solemn festal mass began at 6:30 a.m. The main celebrant Fr Tomy Mattam director of Catechetical Center Belthangady delivered the message of the day. Fr. Alexander Kalarickal, Fr. Milton Jacob and Fr. Manoj Mathew con-celebrated the Eucharistic celebration. Bro. Bijeesh Kuriakose Puthettupadavil remembered everyone thankfully for their participation and support. After the Eucharistic celebration Marthoma Malayalam Samajam gathered together and distributed prizes of “Vayana vaaram” competitions. At 8:30 a.m. Saint Thomas basketball Cup was held between theology and philosophy section brothers. The philosophy section became the champions of St Thomas Cup 2023.
